Jiliz Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Jiliz ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal data in connection with the Jiliz online gaming platform available at jiliz.app and any associated mobile applications or services (collectively, the "Platform").

Jiliz is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all individuals who interact with the Platform, including registered players, prospective players, and visitors. This Policy is designed to comply with the Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines ("DPA"), and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

This Policy should be read together with the Jiliz Terms and Conditions, which are available at jiliz.app/terms-conditions. Terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the processing of your personal data as described herein.

If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you should not use the Jiliz Platform. If you have questions about how your data is handled, please contact the Jiliz Data Protection Officer using the contact details provided in Section 14 of this Policy.

Jiliz collects the following categories of personal data in connection with your use of the Platform:

Where Jiliz is required by law or regulation to collect certain personal data and you fail to provide it, Jiliz may be unable to register your account, process transactions, or continue providing services to you.

Jiliz collects personal data through the following means:

• Direct interactions: Data you provide when registering an account, completing identity verification, making deposits or withdrawals, contacting support, or submitting feedback through the Platform.
• Automated technologies: Data collected automatically when you access the Platform, including through cookies, web beacons, server logs, and similar tracking technologies. See Section 7 for more detail on cookies.
• Payment providers: Transaction confirmation data received from GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other payment processing partners when you make deposits or withdrawals.
• Identity verification services: Data received from third-party identity verification providers used to confirm your identity and age in compliance with KYC and AML requirements.
• Fraud prevention services: Risk signals and device fingerprinting data received from fraud detection service providers used to protect the integrity of the Platform.
• Game providers: Game session data received from Jiliz's licensed game content providers in connection with your participation in games on the Platform.

Jiliz uses the personal data it collects for the following purposes:

• Account registration and management: To create and maintain your Jiliz account, verify your identity and age, and manage your account settings and preferences.
• Platform operation: To provide access to games, process wagers, calculate and credit winnings, and deliver the core functionality of the Jiliz Platform.
• Payment processing: To process deposits and withdrawals, verify payment method ownership, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Regulatory compliance: To comply with applicable Philippine laws and regulations, including KYC requirements, AML obligations, PAGCOR regulatory requirements, and the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
• Responsible gaming: To monitor gaming activity for signs of problem gambling, enforce responsible gaming limits and self-exclusion requests, and provide appropriate support resources.
• Security and fraud prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorised account access, and other security threats to the Platform and its users.
• Customer support: To respond to your enquiries, resolve disputes, and provide assistance in connection with your use of the Platform.
• Platform improvement: To analyse usage patterns, identify technical issues, and improve the features, performance, and user experience of the Jiliz Platform.
• Communications: To send you transactional notifications, account alerts, and, where you have consented, promotional communications about Jiliz offers and features.

Jiliz will not use your personal data for any purpose that is incompatible with the purposes listed above without first obtaining your consent or establishing another lawful basis for processing.

Jiliz processes your personal data on the following legal bases under the Data Privacy Act of 2012:

• Contractual necessity: Processing that is necessary to perform the contract between you and Jiliz, including account registration, game operation, and payment processing.
• Legal obligation: Processing that is required to comply with applicable Philippine laws and regulations, including KYC, AML, and PAGCOR regulatory requirements.
• Legitimate interests: Processing that is necessary for Jiliz's legitimate interests, including fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement, where those interests are not overridden by your privacy rights.
• Consent: Processing based on your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent, including the sending of promotional communications. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Jiliz does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own commercial purposes. Jiliz may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients, strictly for the purposes described in this Policy:

• Payment processors: GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other payment service providers, to the extent necessary to process your deposits and withdrawals.
• Identity verification providers: Third-party KYC and age verification service providers engaged to verify your identity and age in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Game content providers: Licensed game providers whose games are available on the Jiliz Platform, to the extent necessary to operate those games and maintain game integrity records.
• Fraud prevention and security providers: Third-party fraud detection and cybersecurity service providers engaged to protect the Platform and its users.
• IT and infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting, data storage, and technical infrastructure providers engaged to support the operation of the Jiliz Platform.
• Regulatory and law enforcement authorities: Government agencies, regulators (including PAGCOR), and law enforcement authorities where Jiliz is required by law to disclose personal data, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jiliz, its players, or the public.
• Professional advisers: Legal, accounting, and compliance advisers engaged by Jiliz, subject to professional confidentiality obligations.

All third parties with whom Jiliz shares personal data are required to process that data only for the specified purpose, in accordance with Jiliz's instructions, and subject to appropriate data protection obligations. Jiliz does not transfer personal data outside the Philippines except where necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards consistent with the DPA.

Jiliz uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform to enhance your experience, maintain session security, and collect usage data for platform improvement purposes. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit the Platform.

Jiliz uses the following categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They include session authentication cookies, security tokens, and cookies that remember your login state.
• Functional cookies: These cookies remember your preferences and settings, such as your preferred language and responsible gaming limit configurations, to provide a more personalised experience.
• Analytics cookies: These cookies collect anonymised data about how you use the Platform, including which pages you visit and how long you spend on them, to help Jiliz improve the Platform's performance and usability.
• Security cookies: These cookies help Jiliz detect and prevent fraudulent activity, bot traffic, and other security threats to the Platform.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from accessing certain features of the Jiliz Platform, including account login. Jiliz does not use third-party advertising cookies or share cookie data with advertising networks.

Jiliz retains your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting, or reporting requirements.

The following general retention periods apply:

• Account and identity data: Retained for the duration of your account and for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with AML and KYC regulatory requirements.
• Financial transaction records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction, in compliance with applicable Philippine financial record-keeping requirements.
• Game history and session data: Retained for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of the relevant game session, for dispute resolution and regulatory compliance purposes.
• Communications and support records: Retained for a minimum of two (2) years from the date of the communication, for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
• Technical and usage data: Retained for up to twelve (12) months from collection, unless required for longer periods for security or fraud investigation purposes.

Where personal data is no longer required for any lawful purpose, Jiliz will securely delete or anonymise it in accordance with its data retention and disposal procedures.

Jiliz implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include:

• Encrypted data transmission using TLS/SSL protocols for all communications between your device and the Jiliz Platform.
• Encryption of sensitive personal data at rest, including financial account details and government-issued ID information.
• Role-based access controls limiting access to personal data to authorised Jiliz personnel who require it for their job functions.
• Regular security assessments and penetration testing of the Jiliz Platform and its infrastructure.
• Multi-factor authentication requirements for access to systems containing personal data.
• Incident response procedures for detecting, reporting, and responding to personal data breaches in accordance with DPA requirements.

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, Jiliz will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected individuals in accordance with the timeframes and requirements prescribed by the DPA and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

The Jiliz Platform is strictly intended for individuals who are at least 21 years of age. Jiliz does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. The minimum age requirement for the Jiliz Platform is consistent with PAGCOR regulations governing online gaming in the Philippines.

Jiliz employs age verification procedures at the point of registration and may conduct additional verification checks at any time. If Jiliz discovers that it has inadvertently collected personal data from an individual under 21 years of age, it will take immediate steps to delete that data and close the associated account.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has registered an account on the Jiliz Platform, please contact Jiliz support immediately using the contact details in Section 14 so that appropriate action can be taken without delay.

The Jiliz Platform may contain references to third-party services, including payment providers such as GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, and Metrobank. When you interact with these third-party services, you are subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service, which are separate from and independent of this Jiliz Privacy Policy.

Jiliz is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party services. Jiliz encourages you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use in connection with the Platform before providing them with your personal data.

The inclusion of any reference to a third-party service on the Jiliz Platform does not constitute an endorsement of that service's privacy practices by Jiliz.

Jiliz reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. The date of the most recent revision is always displayed at the top of this page.

Where changes to this Policy are material — meaning they significantly affect how Jiliz processes your personal data or your rights in relation to that data — Jiliz will provide advance notice to registered players via email or a prominent notice on the Platform before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Jiliz Platform following the effective date of any revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the changes and, where applicable, your consent to the updated processing practices described therein. If you do not agree with any changes to this Policy, you should cease using the Platform and may request account closure in accordance with the Jiliz Terms and Conditions.

If you are not satisfied with Jiliz's response to your privacy enquiry or data subject request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines, which is the supervisory authority responsible for enforcing the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
